Missing 75-year-old Woman Found Dead in Stagnant Water at Sholinganallur

CHENNAI: A 75-year-old woman missing for the last three days from her house at Perumbakkam was found dead in stagnant waters on a Sholinganallur apartment complex on Friday. The body was spotted by the residents and the police were alerted. Later, it was found that the deceased was B Pandiammal, who was reported missing for the last three days. Her relatives had already lodged a missing person complaint with the Pallikaranai police. Police suspect that the woman could have drowned accidentally in the stagnant water. Further probe is on.
