CHENNAI: St Johns Public School is organising a two-day event ‘Literary Congress’ for students from classes 9 to 11 on February 6 and 7, on the school campus. The event will introduce participants to genres in English language — prose, poetry, novel and drama. The workshop is divided into two components. The first includes creative writing, talk show, interactive session, etc. The second comprises stage play, creative writing contest and others. Schools can register 10 students as delegates for the Congress and 10 to take part in the competitions. Entry and registration is free. Registrations close on January 30.
