Nat’l Network Security Championship

CHENNAI: The department of Computer Science and Engineering of Loyola Institute of Technology conducted a two-day workshop, sponsored by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, on National Network Security Championship recently. The inaugural function was presided over by administrator Rev Sr Sasikala and the principal Dr Sujatha Jamuna Anand. The chief guests Manish Tyagi and Amrit Raj Ranjan, CISCO-certified professionals from Network Bulls, addressed the students on basic networking concepts. The topics discussed included various network protocols, real time networking applications and so on. At the end of the workshop, a competition based on networking was held and the select students were finalised for IIT-Bombay final-level championshi
