APU to launch Undergraduate Programmes

CHENNAI: Azim Premji University (APU) organised an open house session for students at the Loyola College recently. The open house was mainly to inform students about their new undergraduate programmes and the courses that would be starting from May this year. “So far, we only had Masters Programme, but with the increase in student demand for undergraduate courses, the university has decided to include them in the upcoming curriculum,” said Siddharth  Swaminathan, a faculty with the APU. The university will be offering undergraduate degrees in Economics, Humanities and Political Science. Around 100 students had come forth to participate at the session. They had enquired about different courses, financial aids, curriculum and more. APU had earlier conducted the open house session in Delhi, Pune and Mumbai this month.
