CHENNAI: A pregnant passenger who had labour pain forced a Phuket-bound Qatar Airways flight to make an emergency landing in Chennai on Thursday afternoon.
Immigration officials at the airport gave temporary medical visa to the 36-year-old woman and her husband.
Rayninn from the Philippines was first taken to airport hospital before being taken to a private hospital.
The flight from Doha to Phuket, Thailand had 169 passengers on board.
