Vroom with Audi TT Coupe

CHENNAI: A new vehicle in the Audi lineup, the Audi TT Coupe was unveiled in the city on Saturday. Racer Aditya Patel and actor Akshara Haasan were present during the launch of the new car at the Audi showroom. “It’s been great being part of Audi. The best of the coupe features includes a virtual cockpit, which is like a twitter feed for vehicle with information on the car and also gets me to places,” said Aditya Patel,  racer for Audi Motorsport India from the city. “I have been a car buff, and with my dad getting his Audi R8, there started my fascination with the Audi brand. Today, I am happy to be part of this launch,” said Akshara Haasan, who was dressed in red to match the Coupe colour.

“With  the addition of the TT Coupe, the showroom will see the current portfolio of cars and variants on offer, including sports and high performance variants. The city has been open to trying new vehicles,” said Twinkle Krishna, vice-president, Operations, Audi Chennai. The first owner of the Audi TT coupe received the keys from Aditya and Akshara. The Audi TT coupe is the sleekest addition to Audi’s portfolio of sports cars. Besides reaching a top speed of 250 kilometer per hour, the company boasts of having various futuristic technologies with engine output, user experience and drive comfort. The car is priced at `61,70,000 ex showroom Chennai price. The car has features such as quattro all-wheel drive system, digital Audi virtual cockpit, head-up display with improved voice control and navigation, according to the company.
