CHENNAI: The magic show organised by Priya Cultural Academy at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha on Sunday had stunning performances by P M Mithra, an internationally-acclaimed magician. The show had about 50 tricks including a long and short illusion where a five-foot girl was shrunk to the size of a one-foot baby and even flying girls. The highlight of the show was the famous houdini act, in which Mithra was locked up in a box by a spectator. Later, he appeared among the audience. There were few relaxed moments when the troupe gave dance performances for famous Hindi songs. The magic show will be on till May 31, everyday at 7.15pm and on Saturdays and Sundays, there will be two shows at 4.15pm and 7.15pm. Call 7299979995/7299969998
