Former CEC honoured with Slokas

CHENNAI: To honour former Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalasamy for receiving the Padma Bhushan, Sri Krishna Sweets and Krishna Gana Sabha organised Kuraiondrum Illai’— a mass chanting of Sri Vishnu Sahasranama by Visva Vishnu Sahasranama Samsthan.

“We didn’t know what to give him. Since his interest in our culture and tradition is evident, we honoured him by chanting Vishnu Sahasranamam,” said Y Prabhu, General Secretary of the sabha. He further spoke about the contributions of Gopalaswami to the government.
