CHENNAI: Sri Ramachandra Dental Hospital will conduct a free dental camp from May 28 to 30 from 8 am to 3pm ahead of World No Tobacco Day, that is observed on May 31, every year. According to a statement from the University, the camp has been arranged by the Oral Medicine and Radiology Department.
Screening and investigations like basic blood test, biopsy and jaw x-ray will be done free and jaw scanning and surgery will be done at concessional charges for needy patients.Those having symptoms like non-healing ulcers, burning sensation in their mouths, while or red patches, restricted mouth opening and those who smoke or chew tobacco, betel nut or pan masala can benefit from the camp.
