2,675 Graduate at MGR University

CHENNAI: Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, Deemed University, Maduravoyal, Chennai conducted its 23rd convocation at the ACS Convention Centre, ACS Medical College and Hospital Campus, Velappanchavadi recently.  Dr C B Palanivelu, Registrar informed that 2,675 Degrees were awarded to the successful students of PhD, PG and UG programmes of B Tech, BDS, BPT, MDS, M Tech., M Arch, MBA, MCA, MPT, BSc and PhD. Professor Dr H Devaraj, vice-chairman of University Grants Commission was the chief guest of the proceedings and delivered the convocation address, which inspired everyone present. He also bestowed medals to first, second and third Rank Holders in the presence of Er A C S Arunkumar, president of the Institute.Vice Chancellor Dr K Meer Mustafa Hussain, secretary A Ravikumar, vice president (Admin) Prof R M Vasagam, vice president (Academic) Dr P T Manoharan, executive director Dr G C Kothandan and pro-vice-chancellor Dr C S Jayachandran, Vasudevan, -Project Director, K Dhanavel – Special Officer were present on the occasion.
