■ A manhole door opposite to Koyambedu bus terminus on 100 Feet Road collapsed on Tuesday posing threat to commuters along the stretch
■ Chennai Metro Water officials immediately barricaded the trouble spot and initiated action to immediately reconstruct the manhole
■ The manhole was constructed 20 years ago and it collapsed due to heavy traffic. Metro Water said that there would be no disruption of sewage flow due to the damage of the manhole
