Fresh Cheese at your Doorstep

Fresh Cheese at your Doorstep

Hosting a party four days from now or is there a sudden lunch that you have to host tomorrow afternoon? Putting together a range of items for your dinner party or lunch just sitting at home is child’s pay now. Coldkart, the first online store in India for fresh, chilled and frozen food products from a variety of options like local, domestic, imported and sourced products from across the globe, launched its operations in the city recently.

Talking to City Express, Nicholas Paul, the promoter of Coldkart from Tan Group, says that the online store is aimed at giving a fair space for lesser-known brands. Paul says, “Coldkart aims at filling the lack of space for a diverse range of chilled food products in the supermarket. Here we look at offering a range of products like cheese, paneer, tofu, meat, ice cream, etc., from across areas. Since we already have a business to business model as we cater to hotels, we have the infrastructure to cater to a range of requirements.”

He adds that there are several people, who have their home-run food business and are unable to find space in the teeming market. “We look at offering the much-needed opportunity and space for such people,” he adds.

The ordered products will be delivered within 20 hours from the time of order and customers can also time orders to be delivered on a specific date.

Coldkart will soon be launched in Hyderabad, Kochi and Bengaluru.
