'Hotel Industry Offers Many Options Today'

CHENNAI: It was a moment of celebration for the students of Sai International Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology on Wednesday.

They received their degree certificates and offer letters at the Fifth Annual Convocation of the Institute.

The hospitality and hotel industry is moving forward at a fast pace, and you have to make use of the opportunity to explore the plethora of options that are opening up in the hotel industry, according to top chefs who were present at the event.

Chef Malgudi Kavita of Keeya’s Kitchen, chef Palani Murugan of Sun TV Kitchen Galatta and chef Natesan Krishnan of Taj Flight Kitchen wished the students well and asked them to be positive in their outlook towards the industry.

“As many as 110 students passed out this year from the institute. We have a good overall placement record with most of the students being placed in good hotels and hospitality industry. We are happy about our achievement,” said chef Vinoth, director, SAI International Institute of Hotel Management.

The private institution offers one-year and two-year programs under the Bharat Sevak Samaj, and has seen over 2,000 past students being placed successfully in leading hospitality industry chains and hotels.
