CHENNAI: Mirage Film Institute in T Nagar is offering a part-time certificate course in filmmaking starting today. The digital filmmaking course, which us conducted on Saturdays over a period of two months, will get one started as a filmmaker. The students will be able to write, shoot, edit and direct their own short films, after completing the course. The course includes story boarding, scheduling, budgeting, handling a DSLR camera for shooting the film, directing the actors, film editing process, visual and sound effects and creating the final cut on DVD. Only six students are admitted in each class.
