Over 80 developers are displaying more than 300 properties ranging from `10 lakh-10 crore at the three-day FAIRPRO property expo which kicked off in the city on Friday.
The expo offers highly attractive schemes from builders, like a 12-month EMI holiday for ready-to-move in houses. Leading banks like State Bank of India, LIC Housing Finance Limited, Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), ICICI Bank, Tata Capital, Axis Bank are also participating in the event. With the real estate scenario looking up, sales are expected to surpass last year’s figures, say organisers and developers.
The expo, being held at the Chennai Trade Centre, was inaugurated by Housing Secretary D P Yadav, the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority member secretary A Karthik and brand ambassador Suhasini Manirathinam. Ajit Kumar Chordia, president of CREDAI-Chennai, said that customers at the expo get to make the perfect choice from a wide array of nearly 300 properties offered by reputed builders certified under the CREDAI banner. It is a win-win situation for both customers and sellers and “we are glad to be an ideal platform for them to connect,” he said.
