CHENNAI: Challenging the order of a single judge, refusing to order a CBI probe into the mysterious death of Vishnu Priya, the then DSP of Tiruchengode, her father has approached Madras High Court with a writ appeal.
The second bench of Justices of SK Agnihotri and M Venugopal, before which the writ appeal from Ravi, came up for hearing on Tuesday also sought to restrain the CB CID police in Erode from proceeding further with the investigation. The bench ordered two weeks notice to the authorities concerned.
While working as DSP in Tiruchengode Sub-Division, Vishnu Priya was mysteriously found dead on September 18, 2015.
