CHENNAI: Sri Sumathi Vishal Jain Book Bank Project invites applications from deserving and needy students who have enrolled in engineering, arts and science courses in and around city colleges, for the issue of books on loan basis. The application forms are available at Thirukumaran apartments, 12, Rameshwaram Road, T Nagar, between 4 pm and 6 pm on weekdays and 10 am and 1 pm on Sundays. Since its inception in 1991, the project has donated more than one lakh books to over 10,000 students from over 50 engineering colleges in and around Chennai.
