Biker Road Rage Ends in Murder

CHENNAI: A 54-year-old man was beaten to death at  Kodungayur on Wednesday evening in a case of road rage involving collision between two bikes. A Sekar, a resident of Kamaraj Salai in Kodungayur, was going towards Moolakadai on a two-wheeler when another bike collided with his bike. The occupants of the bike, a man and a woman riding pillion, reportedly picked a quarrel with Sekar. In the melee, the man attacked Sekar with a wooden log that he picked up from the road, the police said. Sekar passed out following head injury after which the man and the woman fled.

Locals rushed to the scene and moved Sekar to the Government Stanley Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
