Fishermen Woes: Centre Should Wake up at Least now, Says Karuna

CHENNAI: DMK president M Karunanidhi on Tuesday urged the Central government not to delay any further in taking steps to resolve the problems faced by Tamil Nadu fishermen at the hands of the Lankan Navy. In statement here, Karunanidhi referred to the latest incidents of arrest of fishermen on March 12 and 13 and said the Central government should intervene and put an end to the issue.
