CHENNAI: In a fun Sunday initiative, Apollo White Dental organised a cycle rally that kicked off from the perfect spot — Ciclo cafe in Kotturpuram. For those who have never been there, the cafe is popular for its two-wheel décor and the rally that had over 300 participants ranging from kids to senior citizens, turned out to be a smashing success. Incidentally, the initiative was planned to coincide with World Happiness Day. The event had two races simultaneously.The first race started from Ciclo Cafe to Vandalur and back to Kotturpuram and covered a distance of 100 km. The second was a 60 km stretch that began at Ciclo Cafe via Kelambakkam and ended at Ciclo Café. Winners were categorised on the basis of women riders, mountain bikers, and regular cyclists. Also, did we mention every participant was given a mouthguard to keep those smiles perfectly intact?
