CHENNAI: A 29-year-old engineer was killed on 200 Feet Road at Duraipakkam after a mini-lorry rammed him. The victim, who was travelling on a two-wheeler fell on the road after he collided with an autorickshaw, which allegedly took an abrupt turn into a street.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Vasanthkumar, resident of Sembakkam. On Thursday, he was riding on his bike to his office at Duraipakkam.
The Guindy police have registered a case and are investigating.
