Over 1,200 Students Graduate From Sri Sai Ram College

CHENNAI: Sri Sai Ram Engineering College conducted its 17th  graduation day at Leo Muthu Indoor Stadium on its premises. Professor Y S Rajan, former chairman National Institute of Technology, Manipur, delivered the special address. He awarded degrees and gold coins worth Rs35 lakh to the two gold medalists and 170 rank holders. A total of 1,217 graduates (UG – 977 and PG – 240) received their degrees. Sai Prakash Leo Muthu, CEO, Sairam group of institutions, presided over the function. “We are not only giving importance to academics and sports, we are also keen in the upliftment of the society. We provide scholarships for students from poor families and also provide free education worth of Rs90 lakh every year for 10 students and through the Agaram Foundation,” said the CEO.
