CHENNAI: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami inaugurated the Amma Master Health Check-Up Centre at the Government Multi Super-Speciality Hospital, Omandurar Estate on Anna Salai, on Friday.
A press release said sophisticated equipment, purchased at a cost of `2.28 crore have been  installed at the centre. Three health check-up packages are offered -Amma Gold for `1,000, Amma Diamond for `2,000 and Amma Platinum (special check up) for `3,000.

This is the second centre. The first centre was inaugurated at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in 2016 . The centre will be open from 8 am to 3 pm on all working days. It will be closed on Sunday.

Officials said the centre will limit to 50 people per day as it did not want to compromise on  quality.
Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, Health minister C Vijaya Baskar, Health secretary J Radhakrishnan, Medical Education Director A Edwin Joe and other officials were present at the event.
