Tamil Nadu government to set up Urdu Academy soon

Tamil Nadu government will set up an Urdu Academy at the earliest, said Minister for Higher Education KP Anbalagan, while responding to a request of KAM Muhammed Abubacker.

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu government will set up an Urdu Academy at the earliest, said Minister for Higher Education  KP Anbalagan, while responding to a request of KAM Muhammed Abubacker of IUML during the debate on demands for grants for Backward Classes and Minority welfare in the Assembly on Friday.

“Urdu Academy will be established in the name of Tamil Nadu State Urdu Academy. Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will announce the academy at the earliest,” the minister said.
