CHENNAI: An unidentified man allegedly robbed a three-sovereign gold chain from an elderly woman at knifepoint on Friday at Ambattur. According to police, the man entered a house at Samdharya Nagar through the back door and threatened the victim, identified as Kadharamma (70), with a knife and robbed her chain. Police have registered a case and are scanning CCTV footage.
