HYDERABAD: Three IPS officers from the state have been selected for the President’s Police Medal (PPM) on the occasion of Independence Day.
Director general of police RR Girish Kumar in a press release said that Additional Director General of Police (coordination) SV Ramana Murthy, CID Inspector General of Police VSK Kaumudi, APSP Eighth Battalion Commandant Thota Venkata Rao were selected for the award.
Police medal for meritorious service will be given to ACB Additional Director Kotha Kota Srinivas Reddy, Deputy Inspector General of Police Karimnagar range A Ravi Sankar, Krishna district superintendent of police D Ramakrishnaiah, deputy commissioner of police Visakhapatnam KVV Gopala Rao, foreigners regional registration officer, Hyderabad BV Ramana Kumar, West Godavari additional superintendent of police Soumithri Madhava Chari, APPA assistant commandant E Ashok Kumar, Cyberabad special branch assistant commissioner of police A Venkataratnam, ACB deputy superintendent K Venkata Ramakrishna Prasad, Anantapur district Penukonda circle inspector K Krishna, Intelligence department inspector Sivakoti Babu Rao, APSP 1st Batallion reserve inspector C C Sambasiva Rao, Mahabubnagar district counter intelligence cell ASI Syed Jamaluddin, Anantapur I Town police station ASI G Uttanna, government railway police RHC Syed Habeeb, head constable CCS Guntur district Jeldi Abrahim, Asif Nagar head constable Seshan Anbalagan, Bondapalli police station head constable K Prasada Rao.
