HYDERABAD: An APSRTC bus went berserk damaging a few two and fourwheelers and injuring six persons, on the city outskirts today. Meanwhile, two persons were killed in separate road accidents in other parts of the city.
The RTC bus belonging to Podili depot in Prakasam district rammed into vehicles at a signal near Chintalkunta crossroads as the driver lost control over it. An Innova, Scorpio and a couple of two-wheelers were crushed. The injured, four motorists and two others, were shifted to nearby hospital and are said to be stable. The driver fled from the spot.
A security guard at the Ramoji Film City (RFC) was killed after he was hit by a bus. D Mahesh Goud (28), a resident of Ibrahimpatnam, was going into the RFC on his bike when a bus coming from inside hit him. In yet another mishap, a carpenter G Achari (44), resident of Yacharam ,died after he was hit by a lorry while he was crossing the road near his house today.
