HYDERABAD: R Krishnan assumed charge as the new director of human resources department at BHEL, Ramachandrapuram in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Earlier, he was heading the company’s heavy power equipment electricals plant as the executive director.
An electrical and electronics engineer from Regional Engineering College, Trichy, Krishnan joined BHEL in 1977 and has worked in various positions at BHEL.
During his two-year tenure at Hyderabad, the BHEL has achieved many milestones like doubling of physical turnover for most products even as the actual turnover rose from Rs 5,003 crore in 2009-10 to more than Rs 7,000 crore in 2011-12.
