HYDERABAD: Representatives of various civil society organisations met DGP Dinesh Reddy and sought proactive measures from the police to curb anti-social elements in the city.

The team presented a list of 150 communally-sensitive regions in AP, 40 of which are located in the city alone. “Contrary to popular belief, it’s no longer the Old City areas that are sensitive. It’s the people from areas attached to the Old City such as Saidabad, Musheerabad that are today more communally sensitive,” claimed Mazher Hussain of COVA.
