HYDERABAD: As the state government is planning to ink a pact with Maharashtra government on Pranahita-Chevella project, the government has hastened the land acquisition process for the project. The irrigation department issued orders setting up of six land acquisition (LA) units in six districts. The finance department has given its concurrence for the new units.
The LA units of Yellamapalli, Flood Flow Canal (FFC), SRSP, JCR GLIP and others were renamed as LA units of Pranahita-Chevella.
