HYDERABAD: A 45-year-old financier and gutkha seller was found murdered at a garment store in Kali Khabar, Mirchowk here on Thursday.
Police said the deceased, B Satyanarayana, a resident of Old Malakpet, used to give loans on daily interest basis to people in the locality. Around 3 p.m, when Satyanarayana’s friend Ramulu went to Saif Collections, he found that the shop’s shutter was half closed and Satyanarayana lying dead in a pool of blood, said Mirchowk inspector S Venkat Reddy.
According to police, Satyanarayana left his house on Wednesday evening to collect daily interest from his debtors. But, he did not return. Satyanarayana had lent money to Saif Collections’ owner Pasha, who failed to repay the amount. The argument between them could have led to the killing of Satyanarayana, said police.
