2 nabbed with fake currency

HYDERABAD: Police has arrested two persons in connection with circulating fake Indian currency, and seized 190 fake notes in 500 denomination and 85 fake notes in 1000 denomination worth 1.80 lakh from them on Friday. Police arrested the duo when they were found moving in a suspicious manner near Sha Ghouse Hotel at Tolichowki with the currency.

The accused are -  Mohamad Abdul Aleem (24) alias Arshad, a welding work and Abdul Muqtadeer (25) alias Imran, a centring worker, both resident of  Erragadda .Langerhouz inspector N B Ratnam said, “ They confessed that they had procured the fake notes from one Ghouse, a resident of Yaqutpura, who, in turn, had acquired the same from West Bengal. The accused will be sent to judicial custody.”
