Girl ends life after failing in Inter exam

HYDERABAD: Depressed over failing in Intermediate first year exam, a 16-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her residence in Sanathnagar on Friday.

HYDERABAD: Depressed over failing in Intermediate first year exam, a 16-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her residence in Sanathnagar on Friday.

Priyanka is a student of S K Junior College, Warangal. She was pursuing Intermediate first year staying at a hostel in Warangal.

Priyanka’s mother Jaya is a staff nurse working in a hospital in the city and her father Rajeswar is an advocate. After examination, Priyanka went to the city and was staying with her mother. She took the extreme step  when her mother went to the hospital, police said.

Nalgonda: Two Inter first year students, who failed in junior Intermediate examinations, attempted suicide by consuming pesticide at Devarakonda near here on Friday.

One of them died while another student, whose  condition is stated to be serious, was shifted to Hyderabad.
