HYDERABAD: A 27-year-old person was hospitalised with serious injuries after Banjara Hills police reportedly subjected him to third degree treatment. According to sources, the victim, Pratap, a daily wage labourer, fell unconscious while cops assisted him to the toilet on Saturday morning.
Police picked him up when he was moving under suspicious circumstances, three days ago, in Banjara Hills police station limits. They lodged him in the police station even without registering any case.
On Friday night, police subjected him to third degree treatment and Pratap could not walk. Inspector Sudarshan shifted him to Time Hospital.
