Kolkata-born Bollywood actor Nisha Kothari says she wants to return to her home place.

Confirming reports, she informed that she will be doing a Ram Gopal Varma’s thriller Stalker, insisting she would be the female lead.

Nisha, who has acted in Varma’s films including Sarkar, Darna Zaroori Hai, Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag and Agyaat-The Unknown, said she would be portraying the image of a girl next-door in the film.

“It will be a lot different from the earlier films of the production house.

My character will be more grounded,” she said.

Asked whom she would love to work with among the current league of Bengali directors, Nisha said, “I have one wish, to work with Rituparno Ghosh.

I hope he is listening.

I seriously wish to give back something to the city where I was born,” she said.
