HYDERABAD: Lokayukta justice S Ananda Reddy on Tuesday issued arrest warrant against Nampally inspector Sridhar.
The Lokayukta also directed the Hyderabad police commissioner Anurag Sharma to take appropriate action against the inspector for his indifferent attitude to the orders passed by the institution, which had directed him to submit a report on a complaint by June 7 last year.
A Sreenivas Rao, an Special Protection Force (SPF) employee, lodged a complaint against senior IPS officer D Boobathi Babu, who was the then DG of SPF and BV Rami Reddy, commandant, SPF, in the Lokayukta.
Based on the complaint, the Lokayukta directed the Station House Officer, Nampally, Sridhar to submit a report on the status of the investigation in the case.
When the inspector did not respond, the Lokayukta issued summons to him to appear in person.
