Over a 1000 students from 50 different colleges across the twin cities made their way to ‘SPLASH 2012’, a twoday management fest and cultural meet, organised by the Badruka College P.G Centre, was inaugurated on Tuesday by Professor V Shekhar, principal, Osmania University and Ramesh Vemuganti, president of the Hyderabad Management Association.

The inaugural function saw Professor Shekhar being felicitated for being the recipient of the “Best Teacher Award - 2011”, given by the government of Andhra Pradesh.

The message given to the students was to interact more freely and improve their soft skills to fit into the requirements of the corporate world.

With an aim to provide a platform for the budding managerial talent to compete and win prizes, the 25th mega management and cultural meet is an amalgamation of both formal and informal events.

Formal events consisted of HR, Finance, Marketing, Stock Market Simulation, Young Manager and Business Quiz and the informal events consist of dance competitions, Splash Race, Collages and other informal events.

The preliminary rounds for the formal events such as Business Quiz, Young Manager and Stock Market Simulation were held on the first day of the event, whereas the final rounds will be held on day 2, followed by a dance competition.

A fashion was also held, in which about 18 MBA students participated.

The theme of the show was western outfits.

Students walked the ramp with much elegance and style.

The Valedictory function is scheduled to be held today at about 2 pm which will bring the 2-day fest to an end.
