HYDERABAD:  Banjara Hills police are all set to produce two more victims of Tollywood actress Tara Chowdary in connection with the flesh trade. It is reported that police obtained the names of two victims, one of them a model  based in Mumbai.

With legal experts advising the police to take the details of some more victims, police on Friday arrested a person, Haneef, a personal assistant of Tara.

Banjara Hills inspector M Sudarshan said that on a tip-off they arrested Haneef who was also involved in the flesh trade while assisting Tara.

“Haneef was a key person who handled Tara’s money matters. He collected money from Tara’s clients and deposited it in Tara’s bank accounts. He also brought some models from Mumbai on weekly payment basis and invited customers who included police officers and businessmen.’’

The inspector said they obtained the names of some more victims of Tara Chowdary and would record their statements. Haneef confessed to his involvement and revealed the names of some more customers of the small-time actress.

Tara, who is currently lodged in the central prison for women at Chanchalguda here, was produced in court which extended her judicial remand till May 11.
