HYDERABAD: School education minister S Sailajanath, who is part of the Group of Ministers constituted by the state government to hold talks with agitating junior doctors, warned the junior doctors of stern action if they continued to be adamant on their demands. Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, Sailajanath said junior doctors were adamant on demands such as exemption from doing rural service.

'There is no way of cutting down on rural service as the state government invests lakhs of rupees on training doctors. It is the duty of junior doctors to do rural service as a lot of public money is invested on them. Moreover, rural service is mandatory for doctors in all states,' he said.
