HYDERABAD: A 16-year-old girl, who suffered accidental burns a couple of days ago, succumbed to injuries on Sunday.

M Vani, a class IX girl of a government school and resident of Habeebnagar suffered burn injuries on February 17.

Police said Vani had gone to her aunt’s house to prepare tea when her ‘ghagra’ caught fire.

Neighbors doused the flames and rushed her to Osmania Hospital where the girl succumbed to burns on Sunday.
