HYDERABAD: The Majlis Bachao Tehreek corporator from Azampura, Amjedullah Khan alleged that he received a threat call from an unknown person on Wednesday. Khan said he has been receiving threatening calls after the attack on MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi last year and cases have been registered earlier with Dabeerpura police.

The corporator said the callers have been abusing him and threatening his life.

“We arrested some persons for the earlier calls,’’ Dabeerpura police inspector D Prasanna Kumar said.

The case regarding fresh threat calls would also be included in the earlier case and investigation done, police said
