HYDERABAD: Disposing of a civil revision petition filed by the sons of an aged widow, and brothers of a married woman living with her husband separately, justice CV Nagarjuna Reddy said on Thursday that the family court-cum-additional district judge, Khammam had committed a serious jurisdictional error in allowing the application for appointment of an advocate- commissioner for auctioning a mango garden.

It also ignored the woman's plea for maintenance on the ground that no evidence was there to show that she was ill, he said and directed the petitioners to pay `5,000 per month to their mother from Jan 1 this year.
