While studying degree, he fell in love with a girl who resides in the same locality and even proposed to her. The girl and her family were opposed to Minhaz's proposal and she got married to another person. Minhaz could not digest the fact and decided to malign her character.

"Minhaz made the Facebook account look like it was operated by the woman.

Further, Minhaz said the woman is going to deliver a baby shortly and attached false visuals of childbirth and breast feeding tips on the account.

"He used his mobile phone and computer systems and data cards of his friends," the release said.

A complaint was lodged with cyber crime police in November 2010 and Minhaz was arrested from Nalgonda on Friday. Police recovered a hard disk, data card, mobile phone.
