HYDERABAD: A marketing manager in a private firm was crushed to death under the wheels of a tipper at Jubilee Hills on Monday. Soon after knocking down the woman's moped, the tipper's wheels went over crushing her head, police said.

The victim, P Padma Priya (33), was a resident of APIIC Colony in Jeedimetla. According to Jubilee Hills SI K Srinivas, the woman works in a private education solutions firm at Road No 72, Jubilee Hills. Priya goes to office on her moped and as usual, she was travelling to her office this afternoon when she met with the accident.

"Her moped was hit by a tipper coming from behind near the foot over bridge at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan,'' Srinivas said. Police took the tipper driver into custody and are investigating. A case has been registered against the driver.Priya's husband, Sai Ram,  is also a private employee.
