HYDERABAD: Polling in the elections to the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh, which could not take place in Vijayawada and Rajahmundry along with other centres on Dec 30, will now be held on the premises of respective bar associations from 10.30 am to 5 pm on January 4.
Bar council secretary N Renuka appealed to the voters at the two places to exercise their franchise at the respective polling booths.
Polling could not take place in Vijayawada due to internal politics and difference of opinion on “identity card” issue between two groups of advocates. At Rajahmundry voting did not take place as three ballot paper bundles were delivered at Rampachodavaram instead of at Rajahmundry.
