HYDERABAD: An elderly woman came under the wheels of an RTC bus at Amberpet leading to her instant death on Sunday.
According to police, the deceased Chand Bee (70) was a resident of Batukkamma Kunta and ekes out living by seeking alms at a nearby place of worship. Chand Bee along with her daughter, Jahangeer Bee, came to a hotel near Sri Ramana theatre at Amberpet to have a cup of tea. They were coming out of the hotel when Chand Bee slipped on the pavement. She was hit by the footboard of a passing bus leading to her death, police said.
