HYDERABAD: Mangalhat police on Friday night nabbed two kidnappers and rescued a married woman from their clutches. According to the police, the two kidnappers -- Dinesh Kumar (26) of Bihar and Radhey Kumar (22) of Buwapur, Ghaziabad district - had kidnapped a woman, Laxmi of Indiranagar, Mangalhat. Dinesh had developed friendship with Laxmi, a mother of five, while working together in a firm in Mangalhat.
Being a big family, Laxmi's earnings were not sufficient to meet her family's daily needs. Taking advantage of this, Dinesh Kumar told Laxmi he would take her to Delhi and provide her with a good job. He took her to Buwapur on July 1 last year where he confined her in a rented room. Dinesh reportedly made her work for him there. He was joined by Radhey Kumar, a resident of Buwapur.
But when Dinesh came to know that police had visited his parent's home in Khajipura village and his in-law's house in Bihar and enquired about him and Laxmi, he got afraid. Fearing arrest, the duo then decided to take Laxmi back to Hyderabad. They brought her back Friday night but were nabbed when they reached here.
