HYDERABAD: A division bench of the High Court comprising chief justice Madan B Lokur and justice PV Sanjay Kumar on Monday granted two weeks’ time to the government to file a counter affidavit on a batch of writ petitions challenging the appointment of incharges to local bodies.

The petitioners had urged the court to direct the authorities to conduct elections to local bodies again.
