HYDERABAD: The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad, is organising a National B- school festival ‘Sanskriti 2012’ today and on March 2 at IPE, OU Campus. S K Roongta, managing director, Vedanta Group and former chairman, Steel Authority of Indian Limited will be the the chief guest at the inaugural function, which will take place at 10 am today.

M Narayana Rao, chairman and managing director, Midhani Ltd will be the guest of honour for the occasion. The Valedictory function will begin is at 3 pm on March 2. N K Nanda, chairman and managing Director, NMDC Limited will be the chief guest for the function. He also distribute prizes to the winners of the competitions which will be held in the two-day fest.

Sanskriti’12, through its comprehensive format provides opportunities to management students to test their conceptual skills, domain knowledge and soft skills through participation in events such as paper presentation (Shabdsagar), business quizzes (Ranbhoomi), stock market exercises, games and simulations, case studies, role plays, best manager (Kurukshetra) and presentations in domains like Finance (Nivesh), Marketing (Tarang), HR (Agragami), Operations (Shastra), IT (Ikshit) and Informals (Indriyo).

It is a platform for budding managers to show case their talents, to interact with students from other colleges, participate in various competitions and various prizes.

Competitions will be held in domains such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Systems, Operations, among others. The competitions will take place at the institute premises today and tomorrow.
