HYDERABAD: Buoyed by the three awards for AP Tourism recently, the state tourism department has decided to implement new initiatives this year.

Special chief secretary for tourism Chandana Khan told reporters Saturday that the department, along with the Archaeological Survey of India will showcase heritage monuments in the Old City and also hold sufi music festivals during the year. They will also introduce a heritage corridor bus in Old City.
